Our President & Driving Force
Charnette Gibson
Charnette Gibson is a highly accomplished senior level executive with over 20+ years of experience providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership—including an extensive background within large financial institutions/corporations and leading consulting firms.
Charnette has been with JPMorgan Chase for approximately nine years. From 2003 – 2008, Charnette was a Senior Market Readiness Manager for the Commercial Bank; driving several merger and acquisition/integration programs. Prior to joining the Market Readiness Team, Charnette was a Finance Director for the Treasury Services business. Charnette was also a Project Manager in the Commercial Bank’s Strategic and Analysis Group, where she was instrumental in several transformational projects focused on data mining and analytics.
Charnette rejoined JPMorgan Chase in 2019 in Corporate & Investment Bank’s (CIB) Onboarding and Collateral Management. Her current role is Executive Director for the CIB Markets Operations Transformation. Charnette is responsible for leading the Project Management Office, Strategy, Data Enablement, Broadridge BPS Managed Services Migration, and the Asset Movement Engine (AME) Migration with teams in the United States, United Kingdom and Hong Kong.
Prior to rejoining JPMorgan Chase, Charnette spent seven years at the Bank of Montreal (BMO) Financial Services Group (also) working on large transformational projects, as the Head of US Wealth Digitization & Process Transformation and Head of US Process Transformation for the Personal & Commercial Bank. In addition, Charnette has held senior level positions at The Hartford Financial Services, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the General Electric Company.
Over the last 15+ years, Charnette has been responsible for leading large-scale transformation initiatives driving: business strategy, turnaround process improvement, operating efficiency, and merger integration. Charnette has been credited for her strong project management and leadership ability. She has been instrumental in end-to-end process reengineering, the design of several quality improvement programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams and working within high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
Charnette is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Howard University (Washington, D.C.) in Accounting. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management (Evanston, IL.) with concentrations in Finance and Management & Strategy.
